Step 1:

VLAN>802.1Q VLAN

1. 802.1Q VLAN Configuration: Enable and Apply
2. Enter a VLAN ID and VLAN Name.
3. Then click the radio buttons “Untagged Colum” for the ports you want to apply the VLAN to. (This will broadcast untagged packets from the selected VLAN to that port)
4. Click Add/Modify

For any port that will be used connect another VLAN aware switch. Instead of “untagged” ensure you select the “tagged” Column.

Step 2:

VLAN>802.1Q PVID Settings

1. Enter PVID
2. Select Ports to apply to
3. Click Apply

For any port that will be used connect another VLAN aware switch. Instead ensure you select the 1 as the PVID.
